Intro to Block Inserters

 



 

Blocks are components used for creating and editing elements in a post. Various block types are available to add text, media files, and layout elements, giving you more flexibility to build content.

Commonly used block inserters include:

 

 

- Paragraph: A group of sentences or a single sentence that forms a unit.

- Heading: Introduce new sections and organise content to help visitors (and search engines) understand the structure of your content.

- List: Create a bulleted or numbered list.

- Table: Create structured content in rows and columns to display information.

- Accordion: Organise content within collapsable accordion items.

- Image: Insert an image to make a visual statement.

- Gallery: Display multiple images in a rich gallery.

- Media & Text: Set media and words side-by-side for a richer layout.

- Video: Embed a video from your media library or upload a new one.

- Buttons: Prompt visitors to take action with

- Columns: Display content in multiple columns, with blocks added to each column.

- Comments: An advanced block that allows displaying post comments using different visual configurations.

- Youtube: Embed a YouTube Video.

- Slideshow: A group of images put together on an electronic display, in a prearranged sequence.
